The weak Southwest Monsoon still covers the Andaman Sea, the Gulf of Thailand and covers over Myanmar, Thailand and Cambodia at the surface. The trough lies across Myanmar, Thailand, Lao PDR, Cambodia and Viet Nam at the height of 1.5km (850 hPa). The Southwesterly wind is observed over Myanmar, Thailand, and Indochina Peninsular.

On May 13-14 2012, the weak Southwest Monsoon will continue covering over Myanmar, Thailand, Lao PDR, Cambodia and Viet Nam. The Southwesterly wind will prevail over Myanmar, Thailand, Lao PDR, Cambodia and Viet Nam

 As the result of these phenomena, it will bring widely scattered thundershower will be likely over Thailand. Moderate thundershower with isolated heavy rain will be most likely in more areas more areas of Cambodia, the South and the Southeast of Viet Nam, the Central and the North of Lao PDR  during 12-13  May 2012. The wind wave about 05-1.0 meters high is expected in the gulf of Thailand during 13-14 May 2012.
